Kids toys from KONGES SLØJD, a gentle world to grow up in
At KONGES SLØJD, kids toys are designed to awaken the senses and spark the imagination. We create pieces that accompany every stage of childhood with a touch of poetry. Each toy is an invitation to explore, dream, and learn, made with care to bring lasting moments of play.
Our selection brings together timeless aesthetics and everyday function. Thoughtfully chosen materials, gentle designs, and soft colours come together to create a harmonious world of play, where every child can thrive.
Materials chosen for safety and longevity
Safety and durability are at the heart of every toy we design. We favour natural, sturdy materials such as beech, pine, and maple wood. These woods are soft to the touch yet robust enough to accompany your child's daily play for years to come.
Our crayons are made from beeswax, offering a natural alternative for creative play. The paints we use are water-based, and every material is thoroughly tested for safety. Our toys meet European standards and carry the CE mark. Many items are also certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, meaning every textile component has been tested and confirmed free of harmful substances, so you can feel at ease letting your child play.
Sparking imagination with creative play for kids
Our collection of kids toys is full of colours and prints that invite creativity. Motifs inspired by animals and nature, like swans, lemons, and cherries, encourage curiosity and stir the imagination. Creative play is essential to a child's development.
You'll find art sets with glitter pens, watercolour books, and metallic pencils, sized just right for little hands. These tools invite children to create and express themselves freely. Each piece is designed to turn playtime into a joyful, inspiring learning experience.
Kids toys for every age
Our range of toys is designed to grow alongside your little ones, with options suited to every stage of their development.
For the youngest ones
Discover gentle activity toys and simple puzzles that support first discoveries. Play tents offer a cosy, safe space to explore and dream. These toys are made to accompany their very first interactions with the world.
For little explorers
For more active children, creative toys and balance bikes are perfect for building motor skills. From musical keyboards to light-up roller skates, we offer items that encourage experimentation and movement.
For budding adventurers
As play becomes more elaborate, our make-up sets, dolls and their accessories, and torches open the door to hours of imaginative role play. Puppies, cats, and unicorns in soft plush become faithful companions for imaginary adventures.
For independent, growing kids
For older children, snorkelling gear and skateboards invite new outdoor activities. These toys encourage independence and the development of new skills, always with safety in mind.
Kids toys for every occasion
Whether for a birthday, a special celebration, or simply a small thoughtful gesture, our kids toys make gifts that bring real joy. Our varied selection includes:
Balance bikes for a child's very first rides.
